- A measuring tape that extends at least 60 inches (5 feet).
- A pad of paper and pen or pencil.
- A scale to weigh yourself.
- Optionally – a helpful note taker and observer.
Option 1. The best way to measure for your lift chair is to measure an existing comfortable lift chair or recliner. If you are replacing a chair that is no longer comfortable because your size, weight or other dimensions have changed, these should all be taken into consideration.
